Orchid Multiomics Database

OrchidMD

OrchidMD is a multi-omics database that collects and shares genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic, and phenomic data of Orchidaceae plants online. Concurrently, a variety of analytical tools have been developed to mine these rich and valuable genetic information. As more sequencing data is released, the database will continue to be updated, further supporting in-depth research on the Orchidaceae family and angiosperms as a whole.

Omics Data

Genome

The complete genomes and annotated files of 22 orchid species are collected, and a quick download

Proteome

The proteome is the final product of genome expression and comprises 31,234 proteins from 10 orchid accessions.

Metabolome

The 20 metabolome were defined as the 6,114 of all small molecule (<1500 Da) metabolites found in orchid cell, organ or organism.

Phenotype

84 observable and measurable characteristics of 277 cymbidium sinense cultispecies (resources of a natural variation population) as a result of the...

Transcriptome

The transcriptome refers to the complete set of transcribed elements of the genome from 382 orchid RNA-seq samples.

Tools Kit

Gene Expression

Investigate gene expression patterns in diverse tissues, visualised in an "Electronic Fluorescent Pictograph" (eFP) expression data in orchid...

Transcription Factors

Orchidaceae transcription factors (TFs) are proteins that are involved in the process of converting, or transcribing, DNA into RNA.

Gene Co-Expression Networks

GCNs is an undirected graph, where each node corresponds to a gene, and a pair of nodes is connected with an edge if there is a significant...

Blast

The Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST) finds regions of local similarity between sequences of orchid species.

Browse

Easy and quick to visualize the orchid species genomic data used in the web browser by JBrowser.

Primer Designer

This online tool designs PCR primers for the entered DNA sequence and chooses the optimum PCR primer pairs.

GO/KEGG

Visualize orchid species genes on any of the significant pathways are based on enrichment analysis of Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of...

Collinearity Analysis

Visualizing the collinearity of a queried gene with a number of neighboring genes, which can be tracked among multiple orchidaceae genomes, guided by...
